Reza Iranmanesh, MD joined Vantage Eye Center in 2010. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and his medical degree from Saint Louis University. Dr Iranmanesh completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Colorado and a two-year vitreo-retinal surgical fellowship at the prestigious Columbia University (Harkness Eye Institute). After completion of his fellowship training, he was invited to join the full-time faculty at Columbia University where he worked for an additional 4 years as Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology.
Dr. Iranmanesh has published numerous articles and book chapters on retinal diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes and complex retinal detachment. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has hospital privileges at the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula and Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Iranmanesh is one of two retina eye surgeons at Vantage Eye Center who focus on vision restoration.
