Dr. Jordan Graff specializes in diagnosing and surgically treating diseases of the retina and vitreous. He actively leads groundbreaking nationwide clinical trials as a principal investigator, contributing to numerous publications, scientific presentations, and posters. Passionate about education, Dr. Graff mentors interns and medical students in both clinical practice and research.

Professional Affiliations & Honors

He holds memberships in the American Society of Retina Specialists, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Arizona Ophthalmological Society, the Iowa Eye Association, and other professional organizations. In recognition of his expertise, Dr. Graff was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in 2016 and was named an Arizona “TopDoc” in 2022.

Education & Training

Dr. Graff earned his Bachelor of Science degree and completed premedical studies at Brigham Young University before graduating magna cum laude with his Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Irvine, where he also joined the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) medical honor society. He then completed an internship in Internal Medicine and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa. Choosing to deepen his expertise, he stayed at Iowa for a two-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship, earning the prestigious Heed Foundation Fellowship.

Language & Service

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Graff draws on his early experience living as a missionary in South America and frequently returns to Latin American countries to provide medical service, combining his passion for eye care with global outreach.

Clinical Interests

He focuses on advanced microsurgical treatments for diabetic eye disease, macular scarring and distortion, and complex retinal detachment repair. Additionally, Dr. Graff actively pursues cutting-edge research in retina surgery, including gene therapy and sustained-delivery methods for macular degeneration.
