Dr. David Goldenberg Earns 2025 Top Doctor by Phoenix Magazine for Vitreo-Retinal Medicine

PHOENIX, AZ (April 10, 2025) – Retinal Consultants of Arizona and American Vision Partners proudly announce that Dr. David Goldenberg has been named a 2025 Top Doctor in Vitreo-Retinal Medicine by Phoenix Magazine, recognizing his exceptional expertise, dedication, and patient care.

This marks Dr. Goldenberg’s fourth Top Doctor recognition from Phoenix Magazine, having also earned honors in Vitreo-Retinal Medicine in 2023 and Ophthalmology in 2016 and 2017. The annual list is compiled from peer nominations and reflects the highest standards of medical excellence in the Valley.

Dr. Goldenberg is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist, widely respected for his compassionate approach and surgical precision. He graduated summa cum laude from UCLA and earned his medical degree with honors from the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society.

After completing his internal medicine internship at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, he returned to UCLA for his ophthalmology residency at the renowned Jules Stein Eye Institute. He went on to complete a two-year fellowship in medical and surgical retina at Associated Retinal Consultants at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan—one of the top retina fellowships in the country.

Throughout his career, Dr. Goldenberg has held leadership roles, including Past President of the Phoenix Ophthalmological Society and serving on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Ophthalmological Society. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists.

Dr. Deepti Saini Earns ‘Top Doc’ Title for Ophthalmology for the Sixth Time

PHOENIX, ARIZONA (April 3, 2025) – Dr. Deepti Saini, MD, of American Vision Partners affiliates, Southwestern Eye Center and Barnet Dulaney Perkins Eye Center has earned the honor of ‘Top Doc’ in Ophthalmology by Phoenix Magazine for the sixth consecutive year. Dr. Deepti Saini is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has been named Top Doc in 2020-2024 and now 2025.

Dr. Saini practices comprehensive ophthalmology and is committed to providing her patients with the highest standard of care by treating and helping them understand their diagnosis.  Dr. Saini’s focus and compassion are performing cataract surgeries.  She is a very skilled surgeon, and she remains current on all the latest technologies and intraocular lenses available to help each patient optimize their vision.  She has always been compassionate about teaching and serves on faculty locally as a Clinical Assistant Professor at both the University of Arizona Phoenix and Creighton University.
