Dr. Andrew I. Rabinowitz is American Vision Partners’ Chief Medical Officer. He is responsible for the management of over 100 physicians and health care providers. He is dedicated to ensuring that the doctors at American Vision Partners maintain the most rigorous standards of training and provide the highest quality of care to their patients. Having practiced medicine for over 25 years, Dr. Rabinowitz is committed to ensuring the patient is our priority at our practices.

Dr. Rabinowitz joined Barnet Dulaney Perkins eye Center In 2000. He specializes in the medical, laser, and surgical management of glaucoma.

Dr. Rabinowitz is an industry thought leader. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed medical journals. He is a nationally recognized expert in glaucoma and has lectured on all aspects of glaucoma diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Rabinowitz was recognized as a “Top Doc” by Phoenix Magazine in 2017.

Dr. Rabinowitz earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Hahnemann University Medical School. He completed a residency in ophthalmology and was Chief Resident at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington D.C. Dr. Rabinowitz completed Fellowship Training in glaucoma at the world- renowned Mt. Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
